In the late 90's they used to come by and visit a communal house I was living in just to make sure we were all okay. We served them tea, talked about the Blazers and ran all the underage slaves we had in the house out the back door (hoozah!) It was always right around the time a dignitary was visiting or some fracas was about to happen in Seattle or San Francisco. I was always happy to know they cared. God bless the police.
