And here I am, gleefully approaching the cum-suckers and their seductive ways.

But the thing is, I’m a Treo user. Which means I’m using phones that haven’t been given a technology overhaul in like a decade. And I hate Sprint, so I’ll be comfy hating AT+T.

I switched to AT&T 7 months ago in anticipation of the 3G iPhone. I had heard horror stories about transferring and activating from another service (my contract was up with Sprint), so I wanted to be queued up when the thing dropped. The AT&T Store sales person commended me on my fine strategy, and I got a no-frills phone at the time, knowing it would be recycled in months.

This morning AT&T informed me that I would have to pay $200 beyond the standard offer price, because I was an existing AT&T customer, and that they would rather have me pay $175 for cancelling my contract than give me the phone at the standard rate (and which would give them another customer for 2 years - close to $2k).

So AT&T can fucking yank my knob, those cum-sucking gutter maggots.
